We are looking for several volunteers at our St Helena estate to provide support to residents with Alzheimers disease. These residents won’t remember you from one minute to the next, but will certainly put a smile on your face as you will put one on theirs.

They love talking about animals, farms, food and the good old days.

You will receive lots of warm fuzzies and feel fantastic after your visits.

A good sound knowledge of English is essential for this role.

We are currently looking for some exceptional people to be part of our tiny Auxiliary in St Helena. If you have a few hours a week and are looking for something you can do from your home and a bit with us on site, please contact us.

Currently this small enthusiastic group hold raffles, but in the past they have held auctions, dinner dances, Christmas in July events. All ideas are more than welcome. Money raised goes to enhance the lifestyle of our residents in both our hostel, nursing home & retirement village.
